SSDI payments are on track to end in 2023. The Social Security Administration recently informed recipients that December 27, 2023 will be the last check for those receiving this disability benefit.
To get this money from Social securityyou must have started receiving benefits on or after May 1997, but not before. SSDI Beneficiaries must also meet a second condition, in addition to still having a qualifying disability, they must have a date of birth between 21-31.
There were three previous ones SSDI payments in December, which means it will be the last one. It’s usually on December 3rd. Unless it’s a holiday or weekend. In addition, there will be three more inspections on the second, third and fourth Wednesdays of December.
SSDI AMOUNTS FOR THE DECEMBER 27 PAYMENT

SSDI payments will not trigger the 2024 COLA increase in 2023. Unlike SSI recipients, they will have to wait until January to take advantage of Social Security’s 3.2% COLA increase.
