There is incentive checks for which eligible Americans can still apply. Believe it or not, some taxpayers still haven’t claimed their second and third economic impact payments.

They may not have asked because they have no obligation to do so. Others may not have received the full amount. If this is your case, contact the IRS to see if you can claim yours free money. But tax rebates or credits that could be like incentive checks not over in New Mexico and Washington.

While incentive checks in Washington there is a deadline soon, this one in New Mexico will last longer. So, let’s take a look at the one in New Mexico first, because it’s going to end soon.


The Tax credit for working families in Washington accepting applications until December 31, 2023. Therefore, there are about two weeks left to submit documents for this free money. Amounts will depend on the size of your family.

For example, if you have three or more children, your stimulus check will be up to $1,200. A family with only two children can receive $900. So if the number of children is less, it is reduced by $300.

Families in Washington with just one child can receive up to $600 worth of incentive checks. Even if you don’t have a qualifying child, you can get one if you meet the other requirements. However, your incentive check will be smaller and you can receive up to $300.

Only workers aged 25-65 or citizens who have a qualifying child may be eligible. After living in Washington for at least 183 days you must get it. You will also need an SSN or ITIN. Filing a 2022 tax return is required and so is EITC eligibility.


As New Mexico tax credit is related to the 2021 tax return in that state, you must file before May 31, 2024. Those New Mexicans who have no tax liability may not have filed by the April 18, 2023 deadline, so they still they can do so without penalty.

Once submitted, you don’t need to take any further action to receive them incentive checks. If you received direct deposit, you will also receive this tax credit in the same way.

If you don’t qualify for direct deposit, you may receive a paper check. As a bonus tip, keep an eye out PFD stimulation checks in Alaska. The application window will be available soon. It will be from January 1 to March 31.

What’s more, some Alaskans will receive their PFD incentive checks on December 14th. Others will receive them next January. In fact, the date set by the Alaska Department of Revenue for the payment is January 18th.
